Janice Flynn

Principal Lawyer

In February 2012, Janice established the firm US Visa Solutions, bringing with her an extensive knowledge base and expertise acquired over the course of 10 years practising U.S. visa and nationality law. She started the firm to develop a practice that focuses on the well-being of the client as they proceed through what can be a very stressful process.

Janice’s experience covers a wide range of US visa and nationality matters, including both family and employment based visas and US nationality issues. She has particular expertise on employment-based matters and, in 2017 was named in the Who’s Who of Corporate Immigration lawyers. Janice regularly advises multinational companies on their overall U.S. immigration strategy.

Prior to establishing her own firm, Janice worked with the Hodkinson Law Group in central London for five years. Prior to moving to London, she worked in Chicago, Illinois with the Law Offices of Susan Fortino-Brown and Kempster, Keller & Lenz-Calvo in Chicago, Illinois and within the immigration department of FagelHaber LLC (now known as Thompson Coburn LLP). She first began working in the field of US visa and nationality law in 1996 as a Paralegal with Kempster, Keller & Lenz-Calvo.

Janice graduated from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois and was admitted to the Illinois state bar in 2004.

Janice places great importance on sharing and learning from her colleagues in the field and is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, International Bar Association Immigration & Nationality Law section, American Women Lawyers in London and the International Irish Business Network.

Since 2012, Janice has been a member of the Board of Trustees for icap (Immigrant Counselling & Psychotherapy) which is a registered British charity providing high quality counselling and psychotherapy principally to Irish immigrants.

Janice is a native Chicagoan and has been living in the UK for more than 10 years. She lives near London with her partner and their two dogs.

Stephanie Howaniec

Associate Lawyer

Stephanie Howaniec joined US Visa Solutions in June 2017. She primarily focuses on employment-based visas such as Treaty Investor (E-2 visa), Treaty Trader (E-1) and Intra-Company transfers (L-visas). Stephanie graduated from Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California in May 2015.

Stephanie was admitted to the New York state bar in January 2016. Prior to law school, she earned a Bachelor’s of Science in International Business and Legal Studies with honors from the University of Alabama.

She has experience in human rights and immigration gained in both civil litigation firms and non-profit organizations. Stephanie worked for two smaller human rights law firms in London. Working in civil litigation for two years, she became accomplished in handling large volumes of documents with her cautious eye for detail. While in law school, Stephanie worked on cases of asylum and family-based immigration advice. Before law school, Stephanie worked for several years in International Business which provides an ideal background for working on E and L visas.

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, her international career has taken her to live in California, Rwanda, India, and Madrid. She moved to London in 2015. Stephanie is passionate about pro-bono and legal aid. She has volunteered and worked countless hours pro-bono for low-income and vulnerable clients around the world. She loves traveling, a juicy Pinot Noir, and watching Alabama win American college football games.

Rikkilee Moser

Associate Lawyer

Rikkilee Moser joined US Visa Solutions in April 2018. She primarily focuses on family-based matters. Rikkilee graduated summa cum laude (with highest honours) from Northern Illinois University College of Law in May 2016 where she also received a Certificate in International Law.

Rikkilee then went on to earn her LLM (Master of Laws) in Human Rights from UCL in November 2017. Prior to law school, she graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies. She was admitted to the New York Bar in June 2017.

During law school, Rikkilee volunteered with a non-profit organization called World Relief. There she gained experience with naturalization, adjustment of status, and DACA cases. She also previously worked as a Legal-Aid Clinic Coordinator for a large homeless shelter outside of Chicago where she assisted clients with a large range of legal issues spanning from family matters to personal injury, as well as coordinated pro-bono representation. Immediately prior to joining US Visa Solutions Rikkilee worked as an Immigration Assistant providing advice to foreign students coming to the UK to pursue a higher education degree.

Rikkilee has a strong passion for anti-trafficking and continues to raise awareness for the issue of modern day slavery. She is a twice published author; her most recent article focuses on the challenges facing victims of trafficking when they attempt to seek asylum. Rikkilee moved to the UK in the fall of 2016 and lives with her partner and their dog in East London.
